Le chiffre d\u2019affaires de Rairies Montrieux, en constante \u00e9volution, t\u00e9moigne de l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat que portent les professionnels du b\u00e2timent aux produits en terre cuite du fabricant qui f\u00eate cette ann\u00e9e ses 110 ans de r\u00e9ussite. Celle-ci est notamment due \u00e0 l\u2019orientation de la marque vers les architectes en qu\u00eate de mat\u00e9riaux sains et emprunts de modernit\u00e9, ce qu\u2019apportent, encore plus aujourd\u2019hui, les mat\u00e9riaux en terre cuite. La r\u00e9gion environnante des Rairies, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 la limite du Maine-et-Loire (49) et de la Sarthe (72), dispose d\u2019une argile dite rouge qui a fait sa renomm\u00e9e quant \u00e0 la transformation de l\u2019argile en terre cuite. Du XVIIe au XVIIIe si\u00e8cle, la r\u00e9putation du village est bien \u00e9tablie, mais c\u2019est \u00e0 partir de 1864 que la reconnaissance du savoir-faire des villageois des Rairies s\u2019\u00e9tablie fortement.<br \/>\nEn dehors de l\u2019argile, une briqueterie a besoin de deux \u00e9l\u00e9ments indispensables: un puits, un four. La halle de fabrication et la grange \u00e9tant des constructions facultatives. La grange (ou le s\u00e9choir) est une construction en bois dont la charpente pr\u00e9sente quatre pans bas couverts de tuiles dont la forme et la disposition assurent une bonne circulation de l\u2019air sans laisser p\u00e9n\u00e9trer la pluie. A ce jour, Rairies Montrieux exploite cette grange en lieu d\u2019exposition. Certains proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fabrication des produits en terre cuite se sont industrialis\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de 1910 (date de cr\u00e9ation de Rairies Montrieux par Ernest et Victor Montrieux) ; p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 la demande de produits en terre cuite devient plus forte. On remplace alors l\u2019homme par des machines puis la g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 compl\u00e8te l\u2019industrialisation de la production. Malgr\u00e9 cela, le processus de fabrication n\u2019a pas fondamentalement chang\u00e9. La cuisson se faisant toujours en partie au four \u00e0 bois.<br \/>\nIssu de la septi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019une famille de briquetiers, R\u00e9my Montrieux prend la direction de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en 1972. Il commence alors \u00e0 moderniser les outils de production et oriente les produits de la marque vers les architectes en proposant des solutions de fa\u00e7ades. Le pari s\u2019av\u00e8re aujourd\u2019hui gagnant, l\u2019entreprise \u00e9tant pr\u00e9sente sur tout le territoire et voit ses ventes \u00e0 l\u2019export progresser. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa client\u00e8le compos\u00e9e de 90% de professionnels ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 sa renomm\u00e9e, Rairies Montrieux participe \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 300 chantiers par an dont de prestigieuses r\u00e9alisations comme le conservatoire de Nantes, le Cit\u00e9 du cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 Paris, les Hexagones \u00e0 Londres, le si\u00e8ge de l\u2019Immobili\u00e8re Podelhia \u00e0 Angers, etc.<br \/>\nLe savoir-faire que Rairies Montrieux a su pr\u00e9serv\u00e9 s\u2019est vu r\u00e9compens\u00e9 par l\u2019obtention du label EPV (Entreprise du patrimoine vivant) en 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Photo : Nuancier gamme de teintes Email Couleur<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tout au long de son histoire, Rairies Montrieux a su adapter son offre de produits aux tendances du march\u00e9.
