Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne impacte fortement la rentabilit\u00e9 des chantiers et le quotidien des professionnels. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette probl\u00e9matique, Leica Geosystems a con\u00e7u LOC8 d\u00e8s 2019. Cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 innovante adapt\u00e9e aux stations totales robotis\u00e9es de derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration (mod\u00e8les TS13, TS16, MS60, TS60 et TM60) permet aux professionnels de suivre, localiser et verrouiller leurs stations totales \u00e0 distance. Via une application smartphone, tablette ou ordinateur, LOC8 permet aux op\u00e9rateurs de savoir \u00e0 tout moment o\u00f9 se situent leurs instruments, pour plus de s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 et d\u2019efficacit\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une fonction GPS, A-GPS et WLAN, l\u2019appareil peut \u00eatre localis\u00e9 avec pr\u00e9cision (moins de 5 m avec le GPS) \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur comme \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, et en temps r\u00e9el. Leica LOC8 permet en outre de d\u00e9finir des zones g\u00e9ographiques pr\u00e9d\u00e9finies, autour du bureau ou du chantier. La cr\u00e9ation de ces barri\u00e8res virtuelles permet de recevoir une alerte d\u00e8s qu\u2019un instrument sort de ces zones. V\u00e9ritable outil de gestion de flotte mais aussi de dissuasion contre le vol, Leica LOC8 offre la possibilit\u00e9 de verrouiller et de d\u00e9verrouiller \u00e0 distance les stations totales d\u2019un simple clic via l\u2019application ou la plateforme web, m\u00eame lorsque la station n\u2019est pas sous tension.
