Une harmonisation des pierres, une restauration des sculptures et des verrie\u0300res est e\u0301galement pre\u0301vue. En paralle\u0300le, sera men\u00e9e la reprise de l\u2019e\u0301tanche\u0301ite\u0301 du parvis. Le chantier a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en octobre 2021 pour se terminer en octobre 2023. L\u2019\u00c9tat a pris pleinement mesure du caract\u00e8re majeur de ce chantier (repr\u00e9sentant au total 2,7 millions d\u2019euros), puisqu\u2019il contribuera au budget des diff\u00e9rents travaux engag\u00e9s sur le site (int\u00e9grant, donc, ceux sur la chapelle) \u00e0 hauteur de 2,16 millions d\u2019euros, au titre du Plan de relance \u00e9conomique. Il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 de la dotation la plus importante accord\u00e9e \u00e0 un \u00e9difice priv\u00e9, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de la Fondation Saint-Louis. Celle-ci intervient opportun\u00e9ment pour cet \u00e9difice et dont les charpentes pr\u00e9sentaient des fragilit\u00e9s dont il fallait se pr\u00e9occuper sans d\u00e9lai au moment o\u00f9 le monument subissait de plein fouet les effets de ses fermetures successives et de la rar\u00e9faction des visiteurs.\u00a0Plac\u00e9 sous l\u2019autorit\u00e9 de l\u2019architecte en chef des Monuments historiques, Etienne Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my, ce chantier de restauration de la Chapelle Saint-Hubert rev\u00eat un caract\u00e8re tout \u00e0 fait exceptionnel puisque les derniers travaux d\u2019une telle ampleur op\u00e9r\u00e9s sur la chapelle datent du milieu du XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle et de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-guerre. Il sera fait appel aux savoir-faire r\u00e9gionaux contribuant, ainsi, \u00e0 mobiliser les entreprises du patrimoine vivant.<\/p>\n<p>La DRAC Centre-Val de Loire a initi\u00e9 l\u2019op\u00e9ration\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Une \u00e9cole, un chantier&#8230; des m\u00e9tiers\u00a0\u00bb afin de porter de nouvelles ambitions en faveur de la jeunesse autour des m\u00e9tiers et des savoir-faire.
