Joyau de notre patrimoine national et mondial, l\u2019ob\u00e9lisque de Louxor de la place de la Concorde a \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9 en 2022 par les services du minist\u00e8re de la Culture, en partenariat avec le m\u00e9c\u00e9nat de comp\u00e9tence de K\u00e4rcher. Ce chantier, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du bicentenaire du d\u00e9chiffrement des hi\u00e9roglyphes par Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Champollion, sous la ma\u00eetrise d\u2019ouvrage de la Drac d\u2019\u00cele-de-France, a redonn\u00e9 tout son \u00e9clat \u00e0 ce monument embl\u00e9matique du paysage parisien et symbole charg\u00e9 d\u2019histoire. Un an apr\u00e8s la fin de cette op\u00e9ration exceptionnelle, une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019inauguration du monolithe restaur\u00e9 a eu lieu ce mardi 20 juin 2023 place de la Concorde. A cette occasion, Rima ABDUL MALAK, ministre de la Culture, \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sente pour la pose de la pointe du pyramidion, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par les Ateliers Saint-Jacques et la Fonderie de Coubertin en pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une jeune apprentie en ferronnerie d\u2019art et de Laurent ROTURIER, directeur r\u00e9gional des affaires culturelles d\u2019\u00cele-de-France. Pendant les op\u00e9rations de restauration, le pyramidion en bronze sur une structure en acier recouvert d\u2019or, pos\u00e9 en 1998 a \u00e9t\u00e9 redor\u00e9 \u00e0 la feuille d\u2019or par l\u2019entreprise Gohard, lui rendant son \u00e9clat d\u2019origine, et \u00e0 l\u2019ob\u00e9lisque celui de son image de rayon de soleil p\u00e9trifi\u00e9, gloire \u00e0 Rams\u00e8s II. Sous l\u2019impulsion de la DRAC et de la conservatrice des monuments historiques Isabelle MORIN LOUTREL, le minist\u00e8re de la Culture a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de coiffer le pyramidion d\u2019une terminaison en pointe. De nouvelles \u00e9tudes ont conduit la conservatrice des monuments historiques actuelle et Fran\u00e7ois CHATILLON, \u00e0 proposer une terminaison en acier, prolongeant la cr\u00eates du pyramidion, et raccord\u00e9e au pas de vis existant. La pointe du pyramidion dor\u00e9e \u00e0 la feuille d\u2019or donne une silhouette parfaite \u00e0 l\u2019ob\u00e9lisque tout en emp\u00eachant tout volatile de se poser et de d\u00e9grader la surface du pyramidion.<\/p>\n
