Esp\u00e8ce prot\u00e9g\u00e9e par le code de l\u2019environnement, l\u2019hirondelle de fen\u00eatre construit son nid \u00e0 base d\u2019un m\u00e9lange de boue et de salive, directement sur les fa\u00e7ades des b\u00e2timents notamment sous les surplombs, sous les toits et aux coins des fen\u00eatres. C\u2019est sur ce mod\u00e8le que Sto a con\u00e7u son nouveau nichoir artificiel de forme arrondie, soigneusement fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 base de b\u00e9ton de bois, un mat\u00e9riau sain et \u00e9cologique, et d\u2019une planche StoDeco. Discret, esth\u00e9tique et facile \u00e0 poser en applique sur les fa\u00e7ades des immeubles de logements par le biais d\u2019une simple fixation murale \u00e0 l\u2019aide des chevilles StoFix Iso-Dart, cet accessoire doit \u00eatre install\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir termin\u00e9 l\u2019isolation d\u2019un b\u00e2timent, sans risque de pont thermique.
