Ce label, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2016 par le minist\u00e8re de la Culture, vise \u00e0 mieux mettre en valeur la production architecturale datant de moins de cent ans. Ce label est aujourd\u2019hui valoris\u00e9 \u00e0 travers un guide, publi\u00e9 le 10 octobre 2024 et \u00e9dit\u00e9 par les \u00c9ditions du Patrimoine du Centre des monuments nationaux, sur l\u2019initiative du minist\u00e8re de la Culture. Il recense ces centaines de b\u00e2timents, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s \u00e0 travers une notice et des photographies. Ainsi, au fil des pages, s\u2019\u00e9gr\u00e8ne tout un pan de l\u2019histoire des XXe et XXIe si\u00e8cles. Cet ouvrage a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dig\u00e9 par sept auteurs, sp\u00e9cialistes de l\u2019architecture, qu\u2019ils soient historiens de l\u2019art, architectes ou charg\u00e9s de protection des monuments historiques : Clarisse Duclos, Richard Klein, Corinne Langlois, \u00c9lise Lauranceau, Val\u00e9rie Mettais, Jean-Baptiste Rendu et Rapha\u00eblle Saint-Pierre. Ce guide s\u2019adresse \u00e0 tous, soit pour y piocher des id\u00e9es de promenades architecturales avec son classement par r\u00e9gion puis par d\u00e9partement et par commune et ses cartes recensant la localisation des \u00e9difices, soit pour \u00eatre feuillet\u00e9 en tant qu\u2019ouvrage de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence sur le sujet, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses notices.<br \/>\nCet ouvrage est \u00e9galement unique par ses illustrations issues d\u2019une grande campagne lanc\u00e9e par le minist\u00e8re et confi\u00e9e \u00e0 huit photographes. Pendant trois ans, Thierry Ardouin, St\u00e9phane Asseline, Nolwenn Brod, Cyrus Cornut, Cl\u00e9ment Guillaume, Sandrine Marc, Florent Michel, et Myr Muratet ont sillonn\u00e9 le territoire et pos\u00e9 leur regard sur une s\u00e9lection de 180 \u00e9difices et ensembles labellis\u00e9s. \u00ab Pour cette campagne, nous avions la volont\u00e9 de valoriser les architectes mais \u00e9galement les photographes. Nous leur avons demand\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre attentifs \u00e0 trois aspects : les usages du b\u00e2timent, les mati\u00e8res et la lumi\u00e8re et enfin l\u2019insertion du b\u00e2timent dans son environnement \u00bb, souligne Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Haboury. Sur plus de huit cents pages, ces images font ainsi la part belle \u00e0 l\u2019humain, aux usagers de ces \u00e9difices.
