Ce projet, qui vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre labellis\u00e9 par le p\u00f4le de comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 Advancity, est issu d&rsquo;un partenariat entre X-TU Architects, R.F.R, Algosource Technologies et le GEPEA (CNRS). SymBio2 a d\u00e9j\u00e0 analys\u00e9 et compar\u00e9 le m\u00e9tabolisme de nos habitations \u00e0 celui des microalgues, et a con\u00e7u un mod\u00e8le symbiotique vertueux d&rsquo;\u00e9changes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques et chimiques entre, d&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9, les effluents et \u00e9missions issues du b\u00e2timent (eaux vannes, eaux grises, d\u00e9chets organiques, CO2, chaleur, froid,&#8230;) et, de l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, les besoins des microalgues (CO2, nitrates, phosphates, soufre, r\u00e9gulation thermique, apports solaires,&#8230;) pour les applications de la \u00abchimie bleue\u00bb. Cette approche \u00ab\u00e9nerg\u00e9ticienne\u00bb des microalgues cache la vraie valeur ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 court terme de cette biomasse pour des applications dans les domaines de la nutrition, des cosm\u00e9tiques, de la sant\u00e9 ou encore des biomat\u00e9riaux. Les premiers r\u00e9sultats des \u00e9tudes technico-\u00e9conomiques montrent tout l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat d&rsquo;une telle association pour recycler les eaux et d\u00e9chets \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de l&rsquo;\u00eelot, en nutriments et \u00e9nergie (via biom\u00e9thanisation, cog\u00e9n\u00e9ration, dissolution, \u00e9changes thermiques,&#8230;) et assurer la bonne r\u00e9gulation thermique tant du b\u00e2timent que des cultures de microalgues, qui devrait permettre d&rsquo;atteindre l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie positive au niveau de l&rsquo;\u00eelot &#8211; la production de mol\u00e9cules \u00e0 haute valeur ajout\u00e9e venant quant \u00e0 elle assurer la rentabilit\u00e9 du mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique.\u000b\u000bDes photo-bior\u00e9acteurs standardis\u00e9s int\u00e9gr\u00e9s en fa\u00e7ades\u000bLe mod\u00e8le repose en particulier sur la conception d&rsquo;une gamme de nouveaux mur-rideaux \u00e0 photo-bior\u00e9acteurs algaux qui viennent couvrir les fa\u00e7ades de b\u00e2timents neufs ou en r\u00e9habilitation, pour des programmes de logements, bureaux et sites industriels. L&rsquo;association des comp\u00e9tences des partenaires, qui disposent du soutien de Permasteelisa Group, fa\u00e7adier connu internationalement pour ses r\u00e9alisations phares, telles que Taipei 101 \u00e0 Taiwan, le terminal 3 de l&rsquo;a\u00e9roport international de Duba\u00ef, ou encore le One Bryant Park \u00e0 New York, vise \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser des photo-bior\u00e9acteurs int\u00e9grables ais\u00e9ment aux diff\u00e9rentes configurations de mur-rideaux, tant du point de vue constructif qu&rsquo;architectural ou de la maintenance. L&rsquo;agence X-TU Architects est \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine d\u00e8s 2007 du concept d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration de la culture de microalgues aux b\u00e2timents, dans le cadre des \u00e9tudes r\u00e9alis\u00e9es pour le projet des tours Bio \u00e0 La D\u00e9fense et Algae \u00e0 Paris, et dispose de deux demandes de brevets internationaux de mur-rideaux \u00e0 photo-bior\u00e9acteurs tubulaires et plans.
