L&rsquo;acquisition de la r\u00e9sidence principale ob\u00e9it souvent \u00e0 deux types de motivations :\u000b<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>des motivations imm\u00e9diates : \u00ab d\u00e9sir d&rsquo;\u00eatre propri\u00e9taire \u00bb (pour 66 % d&rsquo;entre eux), \u00ab ne plus payer de loyer \u00bb (54 %), \u00ab faire ce qu&rsquo;il nous pla\u00eet chez soi \u00bb (35 %) ;<\/li>\n<li>des motivations pour pr\u00e9parer le futur : \u00ab transmettre un patrimoine \u00e0 ses enfants \u00bb (42 %), \u00ab pr\u00e9parer sa retraite \u00bb (24 %).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u000bLa perception de l&rsquo;achat diff\u00e8re en fonction du statut de l&rsquo;acheteur :\u000b<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>le primo-acc\u00e9dant acquiert un bien qui lui permet avant tout de se rapprocher de son lieu de travail (75 % des sond\u00e9s), souvent avec un logement de surface et de confort comparables (seulement 15 % ont am\u00e9lior\u00e9 le confort de leur logement, 25 % ont achet\u00e9 un bien d&rsquo;une plus grande superficie),<\/li>\n<li>tandis que le secondo-acc\u00e9dant d\u00e9m\u00e9nage pour un bien plus grand (73 %) et davantage de confort (82 %).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u000bLorsqu&rsquo;elles sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 propri\u00e9taires, seulement 27 % des personnes sond\u00e9es ont l&rsquo;intention de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager ces prochains mois ou ann\u00e9es. Acqu\u00e9rir sa r\u00e9sidence principale est per\u00e7u comme un acte d&rsquo;achat de long terme : ils sont plus de 70 % \u00e0 vouloir garder le bien le plus longtemps possible alors que seuls 8% souhaitent le revendre le plus vite possible pour faire un nouvel achat.\u000b\u000bL&rsquo;intention de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager (27 % des personnes sond\u00e9es) varie selon plusieurs crit\u00e8res :\u000b<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le taux est encore plus faible (22 %) chez les couples avec deux enfants ou plus, \u00e0 comparer \u00e0 31 % pour les c\u00e9libataires sans enfants.<\/li>\n<li>La mobilit\u00e9 r\u00e9sidentielle est \u00e9galement d\u00e9pendante de la cat\u00e9gorie socio-professionnelle : les cadres sont 34 % \u00e0 d\u00e9clarer avoir l&rsquo;intention de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager (27 % pour les professions interm\u00e9diaires) contre 21 % chez les ouvriers et 25 % chez les employ\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li>La mobilit\u00e9 professionnelle est aussi plus forte chez les m\u00e9nages qui r\u00e9sident dans des agglom\u00e9rations importantes : 32 % pour ceux qui vivent dans des villes de plus de 50 000 habitants contre 24 % pour ceux qui vivent dans des communes de moins de 5 000 habitants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u000bIl semble \u00e9galement qu&rsquo;il existe une p\u00e9riode plus propice pour changer de r\u00e9sidence principale : l&rsquo;intention de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager est plus forte chez ceux qui d\u00e9tiennent leur logement entre 6 et 8 ans (32 %) ; ce taux est inf\u00e9rieur avant (22 % pour ceux qui d\u00e9tiennent leur logement depuis 3 \u00e0 5 ans) comme apr\u00e8s (23 % pour ceux qui d\u00e9tiennent leur logement depuis 9 \u00e0 11 ans). N\u00e9anmoins, un peu plus de la majorit\u00e9 des clients (57 %) seraient pr\u00eats \u00e0 d\u00e9m\u00e9nager si un meilleur emploi leur \u00e9tait propos\u00e9.
