En 1960, la Ville de Paris restructure en Mus\u00e9e la demeure historique du com\u00e9dien Rosimond, ami de Moli\u00e8re, et y installe la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u0092Histoire et d\u0092&rsquo;Arch\u00e9ologie du Vieux Montmartre pour lui permettre de cr\u00e9er le Mus\u00e9e de Montmartre et d\u0092&rsquo;exposer ses collections. Cette association, n\u00e9e en 1886, reconnue depuis d&rsquo;utilit\u00e9 publique,\u00a0 poss\u00e8de un fonds important d\u0092\u009c&rsquo;oeuvres d&rsquo;\u0092art et d&rsquo;\u0092objets de collection. Son mus\u00e9e accueillera en 2009 plus de 50\u00a0000 visiteurs. Elle met \u00e0 la disposition des chercheurs et historiens du monde entier sa vaste documentation. Ce mus\u00e9e, v\u00e9ritable M\u00e9moire de l&rsquo;Histoire montmartroise, et donc \u00e9l\u00e9ment irrempla\u00e7able de notre patrimoine national, se verrait condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 dispara\u00eetre dans les semaines qui viennent.
