L&rsquo;intemporalit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau pourrait laisser supposer une certaine stagnation cr\u00e9ative, ou un \u00e9puisement de l&rsquo;innovation, mais il n&rsquo;en est rien : les fabricants modernes rivalisent au contraire d&rsquo;inventivit\u00e9 pour concevoir des produits hautement performants adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 chaque contexte architectural.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\u201cfont-weight: bold;\u201c>La r\u00e9novation se maintient mieux<\/span><br \/>En France, si l&rsquo;on prend en compte \u00e0 la fois les grands groupes industriels, les entreprises nationales et les entit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales, on trouve une bonne centaine de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s avec plus de 150 usines de production et pr\u00e8s de 6 000 salari\u00e9s. Le chiffre d&rsquo;affaires global exc\u00e8de le milliard d&rsquo;euros. Les exportations tiennent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement une place non n\u00e9gligeable dans la gestion de ces entreprises. Il faut reconna\u00eetre que les performances les plus spectaculaires sont \u00e9videmment atteintes par les g\u00e9ants du secteur, comme Terreal, Koramic\/Wienerberger, ou Imerys. Notons cependant que la tuile terre cuite a subi le contrecoup de la crise \u00e9conomique g\u00e9n\u00e9rale : moins de chantiers en neuf, c&rsquo;est moins de tuiles des gammes modernes pos\u00e9es.
