Pour le fabricant EnFocus, il s’agit d’une premi\u00e8re grande installation, un v\u00e9ritable centre d’essai de son produit hautement technique. En effet, ce panneau solaire contient des dizaines de modules optiques avec des lentilles qui concentrent la lumi\u00e8re du soleil sur des cellules photovolta\u00efques. Afin d’optimiser le rendement au maximum, les modules sont munis d’un tracker \u00e0 deux axes qui leur permet d’\u00eatre toujours bien orient\u00e9s par rapport au soleil. Le syst\u00e8me optique diffuse \u00e9galement une partie de la lumi\u00e8re naturelle \u00e0 travers le panneau pour \u00e9clairer les locaux de mani\u00e8re uniforme, sans surchauffe. Les panneaux s’utilisent comme des fen\u00eatres de toit, ils p\u00e8sent 45 kg et mesurent 1,34 m sur 1,12 m pour 20 cm d’\u00e9paisseur. Leur puissance peut atteindre 288 watts. Les composants optiques et photovolta\u00efques sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par un double-vitrage.
