Cavac Biomat\u00e9riaux, leader en France du secteur des isolants biosourc\u00e9s \u00e0 base de chanvre avec sa gamme Biofib’Isolation, lance sous sa marque propre Biofibat’, un granulat constitu\u00e9 exclusivement de ch\u00e8nevotte (cellulose fibr\u00e9e) calibr\u00e9e et d\u00e9poussi\u00e9r\u00e9e pour mortiers, enduits et b\u00e9ton de chanvre. La ch\u00e8nevotte du Biofibat’ est issue du d\u00e9fibrage des pailles de chanvre cultiv\u00e9es dans un rayon de 100 km autour du site de Cavac Biomat\u00e9riaux, limitant ainsi les nombreux co\u00fbts de transports et les \u00e9missions de CO2. Son proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de transformation, exclusivement m\u00e9canique ne n\u00e9cessite ni eau, ni solvant. En neuf ou en r\u00e9novation, l’utilisation de la ch\u00e8nevotte autorise une perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la vapeur d’eau ainsi qu’une forte inertie thermique pour un meilleur confort d’\u00e9t\u00e9 et d’hiver. Le b\u00e9ton de chanvre a une garantie de durabilit\u00e9 qui permet d’\u00e9viter toutes d\u00e9teriorations par les rongeurs et les risques de tassement.
