Pour la fili\u00e8re solaire, un objectif de 5 400 MW de puissance install\u00e9e d\u2019ici 2020 avait \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9. Du fait du d\u00e9veloppement rapide de cette fili\u00e8re, notamment du fait de la baisse importante des co\u00fbts sur les ann\u00e9es 2009-2015, cet objectif a \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint.\u00a0La loi sur la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique pour la croissance verte pr\u00e9voit l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration du d\u00e9veloppement des \u00e9nergies renouvelables pour atteindre 40% de la production d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en 2030. Cela supposera des objectifs renforc\u00e9s pour la fili\u00e8re photovolta\u00efque.\u00a0Afin de garantir la poursuite du d\u00e9veloppement des installations solaires, et dans l\u2019attente de la fixation de nouveaux objectifs dans le cadre de la loi de transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique pour la croissance verte, S\u00e9gol\u00e8ne Royal a souhait\u00e9 que les objectifs soient relev\u00e9s
