Un site a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu, \u00e0 la jonction du quartier de Belle-Beille et de la technopole universitaire. Sollicit\u00e9s par la Ville, huit promoteurs ont propos\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser ce projet. La Ville d\u2019Angers a retenu la proposition du Groupe Duval : un immeuble mixte accueillant des logements de tailles diverses destin\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019accession libre, \u00e0 des prix maitris\u00e9s (environ 2 800\u20ac TTC\/ m2 habitable), une halte-garderie, du logement adapt\u00e9 pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es autonomes, mais aussi, des espaces collectifs partag\u00e9s par les habitants.<br \/>\nLe projet \u00ab Les Bois d\u2019Angers \u00bb, imagin\u00e9 par les agences parisiennes CALQ (Jean-Philippe Le B\u0153uf et Emmanuel Quin) et LGA (Lina Ghotmeh) a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu par le promoteur. Constitu\u00e9 de plusieurs b\u00e2timents accol\u00e9s de hauteurs vari\u00e9es (de 4 \u00e0 9 \u00e9tages), le projet s\u2019inscrit dans son contexte en cr\u00e9ant un lien entre l\u2019\u00e9chelle du promeneur et celle des immeubles de Belle-Beille. Le b\u00e2timent, avec ses fa\u00e7ades en bardage de bois ajour\u00e9, se positionne symboliquement et visuellement comme une \u00ab extension \u00bb du bois environnant.<br \/>\nL\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment le plus haut culmine \u00e0 40 m\u00e8tres. Des jardins, situ\u00e9s au sommet du b\u00e2timent, sont perceptibles \u00e0 travers le bardage \u00e0 claire-voie des fa\u00e7ades en bois. Les espaces ext\u00e9rieurs priv\u00e9s, dans la continuit\u00e9 du bois, sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par une \u00ab peau de bois \u00bb \u00e0 claire-voie pr\u00e9servant l\u2019intimit\u00e9 tout en restant en relation visuelle avec la nature environnante.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;ossature bois a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 celle des poteaux-poutres de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de plus grandes port\u00e9es sans poteaux, ni retomb\u00e9es de poutres et ainsi permettre une exibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des logements. des refends en CLT permettent un meilleur contreventement, en particulier pour les niveaux les plus hauts.
